The Michigan Lupus Foundation thanks you for being a friend and physician to lupus patients in Michigan! Please help us raise awareness, fund research, increase education, and bring support and financial assistance to needy people with lupus. We are asking for your help to continue these important programs.
As you know, lupus is the number one cause of stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure in young women, and the mortality rate is unacceptable. The only reason we have not found the cause nor the cure for this devastating killer is because awareness and funding for research are inexplicably low.
Your One Year $200 Physician Membership to the Michigan Lupus Foundation would be appreciated and in return you would receive:
- Your name and logo as well as business address prominently displayed on our website, social media, and Quarterly Newsletter to over 500 members.
- You will have a premier advertisement placed in a personal email to over 8000 friends of lupus that go out bi-weekly for one year.
- You will be recognized with a plaque for your office indicating to your patients that you are a member of the Michigan Lupus Foundation.
We would also like to invite you to be put on our list of possible physicians for speaking engagements to our support groups, conferences and symposiums. Please let us know your honorarium requirements. Finally, we are looking for physicians to be a part of our medical advisory committee that meets once a year.
I am hoping that you can help our foundation continue to touch the lives of lupus patients in Michigan. I know that the hundreds of lupus patients and their families in your community will be very grateful, and in return we will do everything we can to promote your practice. Please refer your lupus patients to us for help with emotional, financial and educational support. Connect with us on our website, milupus.org, or send a check to our address with “Physicians Membership” in the memo. You may also simply pay online through paypal or credit card here:
